Who receives the Bibles?
We take a targeted, personal approach - distributing bibles to individuals expressing a genuine desire to read and study God’s Word, not just handing out Bibles on street corners.
The Uganda Bible Project personally partners with local churches, ministries, and organizations in Uganda who are actively involved in community outreach and discipleship. Our partners use the Bibles we provide as tools to engage and build relationships with those genuinely seeking God and eager for the opportunity to read and study His Word.

What kind of Bibles? Where do you buy them?
The Uganda Bible Project purchases hard cover, NIV, English language Bibles in Uganda through Biblica, an organization with over 200 years of experience translating and distributing Bibles and related resources. While there are over 30 local languages in Uganda, English is the official language taught in schools, used in courts of law, and favored by most media outlets. Purchasing Bibles in Uganda allows us to avoid the costs and logistics of international shipping

Who is Eternal Impact?
Eternal Impact is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The mission of Eternal Impact is to inspire the emerging generation, locally and in East Africa, to submit their lives to Jesus Christ and equip them to own, share, and demonstrate their faith throughout the world.
How did this begin?
Inspiration for the Uganda Bible Project came out of conversations with Ugandan high school and university students on an Eternal Impact mission trip in 2009.
Who are your partners in Uganda?
Eternal Impact and the Uganda Bible Project partner alongside United Faith Chapel, a student led church fellowship on the campus of Kampala International University in Uganda. United Faith Chapel was started by 3 students in 2002 as a small Christian fellowship and gradually grew to over 30. In 2005, those students partnered with a team from Eternal Impact to put on the first outreach festival on the campus of KIU. Over 100 students responded to the Gospel. Today their church has grown to nearly 1000 students. The community of United Faith Chapel is actively involved in outreach and discipleship on their campus, in local high schools, and in their community.
